About IATF 16949

The quality management system standard IATF 16949 was developed to meet the requirements and expectations of automotive manufacturers and the supplier industry. The focus is on continuous improvement, fault prevention and minimising rejects in the supply chain.

The quality management standard IATF 16949 is a supplement to the ISO 9001 standard and contains the basic requirements for (international) quality management systems in the automotive industry.
